Jinhua Village is located on the north side of Zhangpu Town, along the southern bank of the Woosung River. The village covers an area of 3.4 km² and has a registered population of 4,150 residents. In 2022, the village generated a revenue of RMB 22.1 million and had a per capita disposable income of RMB 57,761, ranking among the top in the city.

Jinhua Village has introduced many new projects such as parent-child inns, pastoral kitchens, parties and workshops, and field playgrounds. Aligned with the rural revitalization strategy, the village is committed to its “Colorful Jinhua” initiative and has made initial progress in building a happy community where residents have a prosperous life thanks to robust village development. It has earned more than 200 honorary titles, including National Model Village.

Jinhua Exhibition Hall, also known as the Rural Revitalization Hall, is situated on Tianyuan Keting (Countryside Living Room) Square at the central area of Jinhua Village. It was opened to the public in September 2019, with a floor area of approx. 250 m². The hall once served as the village’s historical museum, housing records of significant events, development milestones, and enlightening experience from Jinhua Village’s history. In the center of the hall stands the “Gifts from Jinhua” exhibition area, showcasing a series of cultural and creative products inspired by the village’s agricultural development, as well as Kunshan’s intangible cultural heritage - Jinhua Cured Pork. Built around the overarching theme of rural revitalization, Jinhua Exhibition Hall is divided into five major sections – Industry Prosperity, Livable Ecosystem, Village Culture, Effective Governance, and Affluent Lives, each elaborating on the village’s development experience and achievements.
