On July 11, the latest version of the Kunshan Municipal People's Government English website (hereafter referred to as the “English website”) was officially launched. With a fresh new look, the site aims to provide first-hand information services, policy updates, and life guides to foreign friends visiting and living in Kunshan.

In recent years, the English website has served as a pivotal bridge for global exchanges, conveying significant news and timely information about the city. It has played a positive role in helping foreign friends remain informed about policy updates. To further boost the city image and help foreign nationals enjoy more convenient lives, we revamped the English website.

This English website provides foreign friends with a variety of information updates, policies, and life guides. In details, it provides extensive updates covering diverse aspects of Kunshan, including natural condition, history, culture, economy, administrative divisions, and sister cities, which allows foreign nationals to quickly familiarize with the city. It also includes policy information of investment guide and business environment, as well as visa, registration of foreign-invested enterprises, foreign-related notarization, and cross-border marriage registration. These resources act as practical guides for foreign friends to navigate multiple scenario including entry and exit of the country, investments, and management of daily life. Additionally, the website also contains a range of life guides that cover travel, accommodation, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Specifically, information on tourist sites, hotel reservations, shopping, transportation, and dining that cater to foreigners’ interests can all be readily accessed on the website.

In addition to the English website, internationals can subscribe “KSForeignAffairs” (外眼i 昆山), the WeChat official account of the Foreign Affairs Office of Kunshan Municipal People's Government, to learn about updates in both Chinese and English.
